​Knit Black and Turquoise Pullover

You’ll need:

4 (4) 5 (6) 6 skeins of Bouton D’Or Lyre yarn (69% mohair, 22% wool, 6% polyamide, 3% viscose; 185m/25g) in Black Star color (1263);

3 (3) 4 (5) 5 skeins of the same yarn, but in Emenaude (0185) color;

Knitting needles 7.

 

Size: S (M) L (XL) 2XL.

 

Used Patterns

1 x 1 rib.

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.

 

Stitches control: 12,5 sts x 17 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

 

Instructions

Back and Front

Cast on 64 (68) 74 (78) 86 sts with double black yarn and make 8 rows of rib, then, work with stockinette stitch in the following way: * 8 turquoise rows, 8 black rows*; repeat from * to *. In 23 (23) 25 (26) 28 cm from the set-up row, increase 35 sts from both sides for sleeves = 134 (138) 144 (148) 156 sts. At 45 (46) 48 (50) 52 cm from the set-up row, bind off 2 x 13 sts, 2 x 12 sts (4 x 13 sts) 3 x 14 sts (1 x 13 sts) 1 x 15 sts (3 x 14 sts) 1 x 16 sts (3 x 15 sts) in every 2nd row from both sides. Bind off the rest 34 sts of neck-hole.

 

Assembly

Make upper sleeve and shoulder seams. Make 36 (38) 38 (40) 40 sts along the lower edge of each sleeve with double black yarn and make 4 cm of rib for cuffs. Make side lower sleeve seams.
