You’ll need:

700 (750) 800g of black mélange yarn (52% wool, 34% polyacryl, 14% polyamide; 50m/50g);

Knitting needles 9 and 10;

Circular knitting needles 9.

Size: S (M) L.

Used Patterns

Rib, knitting needles 9: the quantity of sts is multiple 5 + 2 selvage sts. 1 selvage st, * 1 purl, 3 knit sts, 1 purl*; repeat from * to *, 1 selvage st. Make sts due to the pattern in WS rows, in circle rows: 3 knit sts, 2 purls by turn.

Weaved pattern, knitting needles 10: the quantity of sts is multiple 6 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated. Make WS rows due to the pattern, yarn overs – as knit sts, 2 yarn overs as 1 knit st and 1 cross knit st. Start with 1 selvage st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1st-8th rows.

Stitches control: 13,5 sts x 14 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 52 (57) 62 sts and make 2 cm of rib for placket, increase 10 (11) 12 sts in the last WS row due to the first WS row of the scheme (= 0 row) = 62 (68) 74 sts. Continue work with weaved pattern. In 37 cm = 52 rows (34,5 rows = 48 rows) 31,5 cm = 44 rows from placket, bind off 1 x 6 sts from both sides for arm-holes = 50 (56) 62 sts. In 53 cm = 74 rows from placket, bind off the outer 10 (13) 16 sts of shoulders, leave the central 30 sts for neck-hole.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with neck-hole. For this, in 47 cm = 66 rows from placket, leave the central 18 sts and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 3 x 2 sts in every 2nd row, turn your work with 1 yarn over all the time. Bind off the rest 10 (13) 16 sts of shoulder at the height of back.

Sleeves

Cast on 27 (32) 37 sts for each sleeve and make 2 cm with rib, increase 5 (6) 7 sts in the last WS row due to the 1st WS row of the scheme (= 0 row) = 32 (38) 44 sts. Continue work with weaved pattern. At the same time, increase 6 x 1 st in every 10th row from both side for placket due to the pattern = 44 (50) 56 sts. In 47 cm = 66 rows from placket, bind off all the sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. For placket, cast on the previously left 60 sts of front and back and work with rib, make yarn overs together with the corresponding sts due to the pattern. Bind off all the sts at 2 cm width due to the pattern. Sew sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.
