Instructions

Make 6 squares according to scheme 1 with black yarn, then connect them together using the specified scheme. Next, create 2 stripes of 8 squares each. Fasten every stripe with single crochets using white yarn.

Back

Make 84 chain stitches with white yarn. Create 5 rows of half crochets. Afterward, work according to scheme 2. At 34 cm, increase 5 x 1 pattern repeats on both sides in every row, followed by 1 x 26 pattern repeats. Crochet for 11 cm, leaving 4 x 9 pattern repeats unfinished on both sides. Leave 13 pattern repeats for the neck-hole.

Left Front

Make 33 chain stitches with white yarn, and then complete 5 rows of half crochets. Continue working according to scheme 2. At 34 cm, increase 5 x 1 pattern repeat from the left side and 1 x 26 pattern repeats for the sleeve. After 11 cm, leave 4 x 9 pattern repeats open. Lastly, leave 4 pattern repeats for the neck-hole.

Right Front

Make the right front in reflection to the left front instructions.

Assembly

Make 6 squares and connect them into a stripe along with the left and right front sections. Next, attach the sleeves using stripes of 8 squares. Finally, make the side seams and fasten the neck-hole with one row of double crochets.
