Garter Stitch:
Knit stitches.
Main Pattern:
Follow the scheme. Repeat 1st-20th rows. Make wrong side (WS) rows stitches as they face, yarn overs as purls.
Stitches Control:
Garter Stitch:
19 stitches x 43 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Main Pattern:
20 stitches x 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions:
Back:
Cast on 109 stitches and work with garter stitch for 3 cm = 13 rows. Decrease 10 stitches in the 13th row. Continue work with the main pattern according to the scheme, start with the first 3 stitches from arrow 1, pattern repeat 11 times, and finish the row with 5 stitches before arrow 2. At 57 cm = 194 rows from the beginning of work, bind off 1 x 3 stitches, 1 x 2 stitches, and 2 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row from both sides for armholes. At 22 cm = 75 rows from the beginning of armholes, bind off the central 35 stitches for the neck hole. At 23 cm from the beginning of armholes, bind off shoulder stitches.
Left Front:
Cast on 61 stitches and make 13 rows of garter stitch. Decrease 6 x 1 stitch before the selvage stitch together in every row. Decrease 4 stitches in the 13th row. Continue work with the main pattern according to the scheme, start with 4 stitches before arrow 1, pattern repeat 5 times, and finish the row with 5 stitches before arrow 2. At 57 cm = 194 rows from the beginning of work, bind off 1 x 3 stitches, 1 x 2 stitches, and 2 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row from the right side for armholes. For neck-hole, bind off 4 x 3 stitches, 4 x 2 stitches, and 1 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row at 16 cm from the armhole. At 23 cm = 78 rows from the beginning of armholes, bind off stitches of shoulder. Cast on 154 stitches along the edge of the front and make 13 rows of garter stitch. Increase 6 x 1 stitch at the end of every right side (RS) row before the selvage stitch. Bind off all stitches in the 14th row.
Right Front:
Make symmetrically to the left front. In 7 rows = 2 cm from the beginning of the placket, make *knit 2 together, yarn over*; repeat from * to * twice every 17 stitches. Make yarn overs as knit stitches in the next row.
Sleeves:
Cast on 50 stitches and make 11 rows of garter stitch. Increase 1 stitch in the last row. Continue work with the main pattern according to the scheme, starting your work with the first 4 stitches from arrow 1, then pattern repeat 5 times, finishing the row with 5 stitches before arrow 2. For sleeve chamfers, increase 11 x 1 stitch in every 10th row from both sides. Make increased stitches according to the scheme. At 45 cm from the beginning of work, bind off 1 x 3 stitches, 5 x 2 stitches, and 16 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row, and 2 x 2 stitches in every 4th row. Bind off the remaining 7 stitches.
Assembly:
Make shoulder and side seams, cast on 106 stitches along the neck hole and make 13 rows of garter stitch, making 1 button-hole in the 7th row. Sew up the sleeves.
