500 (550) 600g of mint yarn (100% cotton; 130m/50g);

Knitting needles 4;

Circular knitting needles 4;

Double-pointed knitting needles 4.

Used Patterns

Relief Pattern

The quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 1 + 2 selvage sts. Work according to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated.

Make WS rows and yarn overs as purls. Start with 1 selvage st, and work sts before pattern repeat A, then pattern repeat A, finishing with 1 selvage st. Repeat the 1st-2nd rows.

Diagonal Pattern

The quantity of sts is multiple 8 + 1 + 2 selvage sts. Work according to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated, making WS row sts and yarn overs as purls. Start with 1 selvage st, work sts before pattern repeat A, pattern repeat A x 15 (16) 17 times, make the central 7 sts of the scheme x once, then, pattern repeat B x 15 (16) 17 times, finishing with sts after pattern repeat B and 1 selvage st.

 

Stitches Control:

  • Relief pattern: 25 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
  • Diagonal pattern: 20 sts x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

 

Instructions

Back

Cast on 139 (147) 155 sts in criss-cross method and work with relief pattern. In 27 cm = 68 rows from the set-up row, continue work with diagonal pattern. At the same time, decrease 1 x 1 st from both sides in the 1st row from patterns change, then, 20 x 1 st in every 4th row (1 x 1 st in the next 2nd row and 4 x 1 st in every 4th row; repeat from * to *) 1 x 1 st in the next 2nd row and 4 x 1 st in every 4th row; repeat from * to * x 3 times = 97 (105) 113 sts. In 30.5 cm = 88 rows from patterns change, leave the central st for neck-hole and finish on 48 (52) 56 sts both sides separately. In 47.5 cm = 138 rows from patterns change, bind off all sts.

 

Front

Make in the same way as back.

 

Sleeves

Cast on 87 (95) 103 sts in criss-cross method and work with relief pattern. In 24 cm = 60 rows from the set-up row, bind off sts.

 

Hollow Cord

Cast on 4 sts with 2 double-pointed knitting needles, * replace sts to the right end of LH needle, yarn behind sts, and work with knit sts*; repeat from * to *. In 160 (170) 180 cm from the set-up row, bind off sts and weave in ends.

 

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Cast on 39 sts of front and back along neck-hole with circular knitting needles = totally, 158 sts. Make 1 circle row of purls and bind off sts as knit sts. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams. Start and finish in the middle of front, draw the cord through yarn overs of the last row of relief pattern and make a bow.
