Stockinette Stitch

Pattern with Leaves

(19 sts wide), knitting needles 5: due to the scheme 1, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows as purls or as stated, yarn overs – as purls. Repeat 1^st-20^th rows.

Central Pattern

(40 sts wide), knitting needles 5: make in the same way, as pattern with leaves, but due to the scheme 2.

Pattern for Sleeves

, knitting needles 5: the quantity of sts is multiple 18 + 1 (11) 1 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme 3, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows as purls or as stated, yarn overs – as purls. For size M and XL, start with 1 selvage st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat x once or twice, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. For size L, start with 1 selvage st and 14 last sts of pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with the first 15 sts of pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1^st-20^th rows.

Back

Cast on 90 (98) 106 sts and make 3 cm of rib for placket, increase 2 sts in the last WS row = 92 (100) 108 sts. After that, divide the sts in the following way: 1 selvage st, 3 (5) 7 sts of stockinette stitch, 19 sts of pattern with leaves, 3 (5) 7 sts of stockinette stitch, 40 sts of central pattern, 3 (5) 7 sts of stockinette stitch, 19 with leaves, 3 (5) 7 sts of pattern sts of stockinette stitch, 1 selvage st. In 44.5 cm = 116 rows (47 cm = 122 rows) 49 cm = 128 rows from the placket, bind off the central 38 (40) 42 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 3 sts in every 2^nd row from inwards. At 46 cm height = 120 rows (48.5 cm = 126 rows) 50.5 cm = 132 rows from the placket, bind off 24 (27) 30 sts for shoulders from both sides.

Front

Make in the same way as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, in 34.5 cm = 90 rows (37 cm = 96 rows) 39 cm = 102 rows from the placket, bind off the central 26 (28) 30 sts and finish both sides separately, then, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 2 x 2 sts, 2 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from inwards for smooth rounding.

Sleeves

Cast on 34 (42) 46 sts and make 3 cm of rib for placket, increase 5 (7) 11 sts in the last WS row = 39 (49) 57 sts. Then, work with pattern for sleeves. For chamfers, increase 11 x 1 st in every 8^th and 10^th row by turn (10 x 1 st in every 10^th row) 9 x 1 st in every 10^th and 12^th rows by turn, include the increased sts in the pattern = 61 (69) 75 sts. In 42.5 cm = 110 rows from the placket, bind off all the sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Cast on 105 (110) 115 sts along the neck-hole line with circular knitting needles and work with pattern for placket. At 3 cm height of the placket, make the last 2 sts as purl 2 tog x 10 (11) 11 times in every 2^nd stripe of the wrong-side pattern, after that, work due to the pattern. At 5 cm height of placket, decrease sts in the rest stripes of wrong-side pattern in the same way = 84 (88) 92 sts. At 8 cm height of placket, bind off all the sts due to the pattern. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.
