Instructions:
Back:
Note: Make selvage stitches with garter stitch.
Cast on 105 (121) stitches and make 1 cm = 4 rows of garter stitch for placket. Continue work in the following way: 1 selvage stitch, 4 stitches of garter stitch, 95 (111) stitches of relief pattern (= 5 (6) pattern repeats + the first 15 stitches of pattern repeat), 4 stitches of garter stitch, 1 selvage stitch. In 11.5 cm = 50 rows from placket, increase 1 x 1 stitch from both sides for side chamfer, then increase 6 x 1 stitch in every 28th row, make the increased stitches with garter stitch = 119 (135) stitches. In 67 cm = 292 rows (70 cm = 304 rows) from the placket, bind off 1 x 5 (6) stitches from both sides for shoulder chamfer, then bind off 4 x 5 stitches and 1 x 4 stitches (5 x 6 stitches) in every 2nd row. In 70 cm = 304 rows (73 cm = 316 rows) from placket, bind off the rest 61 (63) stitches, the central 53 stitches form neck-hole, outer 4 (5) stitches – for each shoulder.
Front:
Make in the same way as back, but in 62 cm = 270 rows (65 cm = 282 rows) from placket, bind off the central 13 stitches for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 4 stitches, 1 x 3 stitches, 1 x 2 stitches and 11 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row. Bind off the rest 4 (5) stitches of each shoulder at the height of back.
Sleeves:
Cast on 65 (73) stitches and make 1 cm = 4 rows of garter stitch for placket. Continue work with relief pattern, dividing the stitches for size M in the following way: 1 selvage stitch, 4 stitches of garter stitch, 63 stitches of relief pattern (= 3 x pattern repeat + first 15 stitches of pattern repeat), 4 stitches of garter stitch, 1 selvage stitch. In 25.5 cm = 110 rows from placket, increase 1 x 1 stitch for sleeve chamfer, then increase 3 x 1 stitch in every 12th row and 2 x 1 stitch in every 10th row (1 x 1 stitch in the next 10th row and 6 x 1 stitch in every 8th row) and make the increased stitches with garter stitch = 77 (89) stitches. In 40.5 cm = 176 rows from placket, bind off all the stitches.
Assembly:
Make shoulder seams. Fasten neck-hole with 1 circle row of single crochets and 1 circle row of “shrimp stitch”. Sew up the sleeves, make sleeve seams. Make side seams from arm-hole to mark A on the pattern design, leaving 12.5 cm from both sides open for side cuts.
