The quantity of sts is multiple of 14 + 2 + 2 selvage sts. Work according to the scheme, on which only RS and 2 WS rows are stated.

Wrong-Side Pattern

In RS row – purls, in WS row – knit sts.

Stitches Control

21 sts x 30.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 88 (102) 116 sts and make 0.5 cm = 1 WS row of knit sts, 1 RS row of purls, and 1 WS row of purls for placket. Then, work with leaves pattern. In 50 cm = 152 rows (52.5 cm = 160 rows) 55 cm = 168 rows from placket, bind off the central 54 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. In 52.5 cm = 60 rows (55 cm = 168 rows) 57.5 cm = 176 rows from placket, bind off the rest 17 (42) 31 sts of shoulder.

Front

Make in the same way as back, but with a deeper neck-hole. For this, in 47.5 cm = 144 rows (50 cm = 152 rows) 52.5 cm = 160 rows from placket, bind off the central 54 sts.

Sleeves

Cast on 60 (74) 88 sts and make a placket in the same way as for the back. Then, work with the leaves pattern. In 16 cm = 50 rows, increase 1 x 1 st from both sides of placket. Then, bind off 1 x 1 st of wrong-side pattern in the next 8^th row = 64 (78) 92 sts. In 21 cm = 64 rows from placket, bind off all the sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Cast on 138 sts along the neck-hole with circular knitting needles and make 2 circle rows of purls. Then, bind off the sts as purls. Sew up the sleeves. Make side and sleeve seams.
