How to Knit a Dark-Green Sweater with V-Shape Neck



You’ll Need:
5 skeins of Super Lana Klassik yarn in dark-green color (#118) (100g/50m);
1 skein of the same yarn, but in light-green color (#210);
1 skein of the same yarn, but in grey color (#21);
Knitting needles 4.

L.Instructions
Front
Cast on 144 sts with light-green yarn and work with 2 x 2 rib for 8 rows.
Then, make 4 rows with grey yarn and 4 rows with dark-green yarn.Make 4 more rows of rib with light-green and 4 rows of dark-green yarn, then turn to the main pattern according to the scheme.
At 39 cm height, start forming arm-holes; for this, decrease 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, and 1 x 1 st from both sides.
At the same time, after knitting 2 sts of front center for V-shape neck-hole, knit both sides separately, decreasing 1 st in every row. Bind off the rest of the sts at the needed height.
Back
In the same way as the front, but don’t form the V-shape neck-hole.
Sleeves
Cast on 64 sts and work with rib, changing colors according to the description of the front. Then, work according to the pattern based on the scheme. Increase 1 st from both sides in every 12th row.
At 48 cm height, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, and 1 x 1 st from both sides. Then, continue working, decreasing 1 st from both sides until the part with decreases measures 15 cm; after that, bind off all the sts.
Assembly
Make one shoulder seam. Cast on the sts along the neck-hole line with dark-green yarn and make 6 rows with 2 x 2 rib. After that, make 4 rows with light-green yarn, 4 rows with dark-green yarn, 4 rows with grey yarn, and 4 rows with dark-green yarn. Make knit3tog in the corner of the neck-hole.
