UK Instructions

Cuff

With colour 1, make 8ch, 1dc into second ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn. (7dc)

2nd Row

Working into back loop of stitch only, work 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Turn.

Rpt last row until 24 rows have been worked in all.

Joining

Fold piece in half (bottom to the top) so that the short sides of both ends are lined up, ss through both sides of your work to make a ring. DNT.

Leg

(RS) Working into row ends along side of ring, work 1ch, 1dc into each row end to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. (24dc)

Second Row

With RS facing join yarn to first row end (next to ss edge you have just created), 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, working into row ends along first side of heel, work 1dc into each of next five row ends, 1dc into each of next 12dc along instep and sole, 1dc into each of next six row ends on second side of heel, ss to first dc on beginning of row.
