​Crochet Stripped Socks

You’ll need:

40g of mustard yarn (50% wool, 50% viscose);

30g of the same yarn, but in beige color;

30g of the same yarn, but in brown color;

Crochet hook 3.

Stitches control: 16 single crochets = 10 cm.

Instructions

Make 9 chain sts with mustard yarn and fasten it with 1 row of single crochets from both sides, connect the first and last sts with slip st = 18 sts;

2^nd row: 1 chain st increase, 2 single crochets from 1 st, 8 single crochets, 2 single crochets from 1 st, 8 single crochets = 20 sts;

3^rd row: 1 chain st increase, 2 single crochets from 1 st, 9 single crochets, 2 single crochets from 1 st, 9 single crochets = 22 sts;

4^th row: 1 chain st increase, 2 single crochets from 1 st, 10 single crochets, 2 single crochets from 1 st, 10 single crochets = 24 sts;

Make increases in the same way for 9 rows = 42 sts.

From the 14^th row, work with single crochets without increases, alternate the color of yarn in every row.

At 18 cm height, divide your work into 2 equal parts and make heel in the following way:

1^st row: 21 single crochets;

2^nd, 4^th, 6^th, 8^th, 10^th, 12^th, 14^th and 15^th rows: make single crochets bound off together in the beginning and end of row;

3^rd row: 19 single crochets;

5^th row: 17 single crochets;

7^th row: 15 single crochets;

9^th row: 13 single crochets;

11^th row: 11 single crochets;

13^throw: 9 single crochets.

For boot top continue work of toe and fasten the heel = 54 sts due to the colors order. In 10 rows, decrease 2 x 6 sts in the 5^th row in 10 rows = 42 sts and work without decreases for 20 cm. Then, make 3 cm of mustard yarn and cut the yarn. Turn the upper part of boot top and sew.
