Lay the piece flat with the seam in the back center. Scrunch the center together and with separate yarn wrap around the center approximately 25 times (or to your desired thickness and width) tightly. Tie off in a knot on the back (seam) side. Using the small holes on the ends of the barrette and a separate piece of yarn, sew your barrette onto the back of the bow and secure with knots. For extra security you can use hot glue to help adhere the barrette to the bow.
