Knitting Baby Socks: A Step-by-Step Guide

You Will Need:
Special yarn for babies in white and blue colors;
Knitting needles size 3.5.
Instructions:
Cast on 32 stitches and distribute them across 4 needles with 8 stitches on each needle accordingly. From the 1st to the 24th row, knit using a simple socks rib, which can either be 1 x 1 or 2 x 2 ribbing to create a high rib effect.
Continue working in the same manner while decreasing 1 stitch on each needle until you have 28 stitches left. After this, knit the heel by combining the stitches of 2 needles and placing them on one, then knit 8 rows in stockinette stitch.
Next, make 10 knit stitches, then begin decreasing by knitting 2 links together as knit stitches. Turn your work and knit 6 rows with purls, then continue decreasing the stitches until only 6 stitches remain. You will know your heel is ready at this stage.
Now, divide all the stitches onto 2 needles, leaving 3 stitches on each needle. Start adding stitches while knitting 4 knit stitches near the heel. Add stitches until you have 7 stitches on the needle. Persist in knitting circle rows in stockinette stitch, adding white yarn to create stripes.
Begin decreasing the stitches and continue working as needed. To finalize your sock, decrease 1 stitch in each stripe on each needle until only 1 stitch remains. Cut the yarn, draw it through the remaining stitches, make a knot, tighten, and secure it tightly.
