Creating the Tie
Tie (Revised): With F hook ch 90 – tie off… weave chain tie in and out around the top of round 13 in the ch1 spaces and in between the granny clusters. Place toilet roll tissue in after removing the cardboard center. Draw up ends of yarn ties as in a drawstring bag and tie in a bow.
Removing the Cardboard Center
To remove the cardboard center, I used a letter opener; you could also use a butter knife. Slip it in between the cardboard and tissue where it's attached. Move it gently around the cardboard center until the tissue is released from it. Take scissors and cut a long slit in the cardboard, making it easier to twist and lift out. Remove the cardboard and find the center of the tissue; pull gently out to expose it for use.
