You’ll Need:

600g of sectional coloring yarn (80% acryl, 20% wool; 280m/100g);

Knitting needles 4.

Size:

XL.

Used Patterns:

  • 1 x 1 rib;
  • 2 x 2 rib;

Main pattern: due to the scheme 1, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows due to the pattern. Repeat 1st-2nd rows.

Instructions:

Back:

Cast on 82 sts and work with 2 x 2 rib. At 8 cm height from the set-up row, increase 11 sts and work with the main pattern due to the scheme 1. Knit straight. At 46 cm height from the set-up row, bind off 4 sts from both sides for arm-holes and 1 x 2 sts, 1 x 1 st in every 2nd row. Then, knit straight. At 65 cm height from the set-up row, bind off the central 19 sts and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 2 sts, 1 x 1 st. At 68 cm height from the set-up row, bind off all the sts.

Front:

Make in the same way as back, but with a deeper neck-hole. For this, at 58 cm height from the set-up row, bind off the central 19 sts and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 2 sts, 1 x 1 st in every 2nd row. At 68 cm height, bind off all the sts.

Sleeves:

Cast on 43 sts and work with 1 x 1 rib. At 6 cm height from the set-up row, increase 10 sts and work with the main pattern due to the scheme 1. For widening, increase 1 st in every 6th row from both sides. Include the increased sts in the pattern. At 52 cm height from the set-up row, bind off 4 sts from both sides of sleeves and 2 x 2 sts, 12 x 1 st, 3 x 2 sts in every 2nd row. At 68 cm height from the set-up row, bind off all the sts. Make the second sleeve in the same way.

Assembly:

Make shoulder and side seams. Sew up the sleeves. Cast on the sts along the neck-hole and work with 1 x 1 rib. At 5 cm height from the set-up row, bind off all the sts.
