Cast on 9 sts and start making the 1st row (due to the scheme 1): 1 selvage st, 2 knit sts, yarn over, 1 knit st, yarn over, 1 knit st – central st (right half (left) on the scheme, then, turn to the left part of the scheme and continue making the 1st row), yarn over, 1 knit st, yarn over, 2 knit sts, 1 selvage st.
The principle of work: on the right side of the scheme – the left half of the shawl is stated, on the left side of the scheme – the right half of the shawl. Work due to the schemes. Repeat the scheme 2 x 6 times (the quantity of repeats depends on the needed size).
