How to Crochet a Beautiful Shawl with Ecru Yarn


You’ll Need:
100g of ecru yarn (100% wool; 100m/50g);
Crochet hook 4.5 and 5.5.

62 x 202 cm.

Work according to the scheme with circle rows. Make 6 chain stitches and circle them in the ring with 1 slip stitch.
1st Rnd: 12 single crochets in the ring, replace the 1st single crochet with 2 chain stitches, finish rnd with 1 slip stitch in the 2nd chain stitch;
2nd Rnd: Make 12 beads, divided by 5 chain stitches, finish rnd with 2 chain stitches and 1 double crochet in the 1st bead;
3rd Rnd: Fasten arches of chain stitches with single crochets, replace the 1st single crochet with 2 chain stitches. First, make bead, then 3 chain stitches and 1 slip stitch in the top of bead in the corners, finish with 1 slip stitch.
Repeat 1st-3rd rounds once.
Stitches Control
1 square = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Make 120 separate squares and connect them into a rectangle of 6 x 20 squares. For this, starting from the 2nd square, join the yarn to the 3rd rnd of the previous squares. Make 1 single crochet behind the arch of chain stitches instead of the central chain stitch in the arches. For corner stitches make 1 slip stitch in the corresponding corner stitch of the previous square.
Assembly
Fasten the shawl with 1 round of single crochets using crochet hook 5.5. Make 1 x 3 single crochets and 1 x 4 single crochets in every arch of chain stitches, starting from the 2nd chain stitch. Make 3 single crochets in the corner stitch in the corners, finishing the round with 1 slip stitch in the 2nd chain stitch increase. Then, make 1 round with picot using crochet hook 4.5 in the following way: 2 chain stitches, * 1 single crochet, picot, skip 1 single crochet of the previous round*; repeat from * to *, and finish with 1 slip stitch. Make 1 single crochet, 1 picot, and 1 single crochet in the central corner stitch in the corners.
