How to Crochet a Scale Pattern Blanket


You’ll Need:
500g of khaki, mustard and pink colors yarn (53% wool, 47% polyacryl; 135m/50g) (each);
Crochet hook 6.
Size:
90 x 170 cm.
Used Patterns
Scale pattern: make 8 chain sts and circle them in the ring with 1 slip st. Continue work in the following way:
Row Instructions:
1st row: 3 chain sts increase, 4 double crochets in the ring of chain sts, 2 chain sts, 5 double crochets in the ring of chain sts (= 1st scale), don’t turn;
2nd row: 3 chain sts, 1 double crochet in the last double crochet of the 1st row, 2 chain sts, 1 double crochet in the center of the 1st scale, 2 chain sts, 2 double crochets in the 3rd chain st increase of the 1st scale;
3rd row: don’t turn and work on RS. 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1st double crochet of the next scale, 4 double crochets around the last double crochet of the previous row, 2 chain sts, turn, 5 double crochets around the next double crochet of the previous row, 1 single crochet in the next double crochet of the previous row, 5 double crochets around the next double crochet of the previous row, 2 chain sts, 4 double crochets around 3 chain sts increase of the previous row;
4th-5th rows: make in the same way, as the 2nd and 3rd rows, widen your work from both sides due to the scheme.
Stitches Control
2 scales x 8 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Make 8 chain sts and work with the scale pattern. In 90 cm = 72 rows from the set-up row, finish your work with 1 row of single crochets.
