Used Patterns

Relief pattern: work according to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows as they face, yarn overs as purls, double yarn overs – 1 purl, 1 knit stitch.

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit stitches, in WS row – purls.

22 stitches x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Cast on 102 stitches and divide them in the following way: 1 selvage stitch, 17 stitches of stockinette stitch, 62 stitches according to the scheme (2 pattern repeats), 4 stitches after pattern repeat, 17 stitches of stockinette stitch, 1 selvage stitch. For better fitting, decrease 7 x 1 stitch from both sides in every 6^th row. Then, increase 12 x 1 stitch in every 6^th row. In 40 cm = 120 rows from the beginning of work, make 6 rows without increases. In 42 cm = 126 rows from the beginning of work, increase 5 stitches from both sides, then 6 x 1 stitch in every 7^th row. At the same time, divide stitches in half for neck-hole and finish each side separately. Make 18 x knit2tog from both sides from the side of neck-hole in every 3^rd row. In 16 cm = 48 rows from the beginning of work, bind off 2 x 7 stitches, 3 x 6 stitches, 3 x 5 stitches from both sides in every 2^nd row. Bind off the rest 2 stitches.

Front

Make in the same way as back.

Assembly

Make side and shoulder seams. Fasten neck-hole and arm-holes with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of “crab stitch”.
