​Crochet Beach Top with Fringe

You’ll need:

150 (200)g of turquoise mélange Record 210 Color yarn (100% cotton; 90m/50g);

100g of the same yarn, but in light-green color;

Crochet hook 4.

Size: S (M).

Used Patterns

Net pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 3 + 1. Work due to the scheme. Start every row with 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1^st double crochet. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1^st-3^rd rows x once, then, repeat 2^nd-3^rd rows.

Stitches control: net pattern: 18 sts x 8 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Double crochets: 16 sts x 8,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Make 64 (70) chain sts + 3 chain sts increase with mélange yarn and work with net pattern. In 27,5 cm = 22 rows (30 cm = 24 rows) from the set-up row, finish your work.

Front

Make 63 (69) chain sts + 3 chain sts increase with mélange yarn and work with double crochets. Start every row with 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1^st double crochet. In 12 cm = 10 rows (14 cm = 12 rows) from the set-up row, decrease 1 double crochet from both sides for arm-holes, then, bind off 1 x 3 sts and 2 x 2 sts (1 x 3 sts, 2 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st). At the same time with the first decrease for arm-hole, leave the central double crochet and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, leave 1 x 4 sts, 2 x 3 sts, 5 (6) x 2 sts in every row, start the row with decreases with 1 single crochet and 1 half crochet and finish with 1 half crochet and 1 single crochet. Make on the last 3 double crochets in the 19^th (22^nd row) 3 double crochets together and finish your work.

Assembly

Make side seams, sew the bottom 8 (10) cm of front to the upper 8 (10) cm of back (* and 0 on the pattern design). For straps, join mélange yarn in every upper corner of front, make 2 chains of 35 cm long and join them to back at 5 cm distance from side seam. Make 6 tassels from light-green yarn and 24 threads of 100 cm long each. Divide every tassels and make knots due to the pattern design and photo.
