Crochet Patterns and Techniques for Beautiful Garments

You’ll Need:

100g of black yarn (50% cotton, 50% acryl; 150m/50g);

200g of the same yarn, but in blue color;

30g of the same yarn, but in light-blue color;

30g of white yarn (40% mohair, 60% acryl; 500m/100g);

Crochet hooks 3 and 3.5.

Used Patterns

Big Element

: scheme 3-1. Work from center around. There are 4 elements needed. Make 1st-2nd rows with white yarn, make 3rd-13th rows with black yarn, and 14th row – with blue yarn. (Number 1 on pattern design).

Middle Element

: scheme 3-2. Work from center around. There are 4 elements needed. Make 1st-3rd rows with light-blue yarn, make 4th-7th rows with blue yarn. (Number 2 on pattern design).

Small Element

: scheme 3-3. Work from center around. There are 2 elements needed. Work with blue yarn. (Number 3 on pattern design).

Pineapple Pattern

: scheme 3-4. Only circle rows are stated on the scheme. (Number 5 on pattern design).

 

Instructions

Placement of elements and patterns is marked on pattern design (pic. 3-1). At first, make a braid with the upper part of sleeves, then work the patent on main details and lower edges of sleeves.

 

Upper Part of Front with Upper Parts of Sleeves

Make 4 big elements according to scheme 3-1 with crochet hook 3. For the neck-hole, don’t finish one “pineapple” pattern repeat in the 4th element, marked with a red line on the scheme (work with straight and reversed rows from the 6th row). Make the last (14th) row with blue yarn and connect elements with one another matching with pattern design. Then, make 2 middle elements according to scheme 3-2 and connect front and back along the side seam with them. After that, make 2 small elements according to scheme 3-3 and connect the sleeves with them in the same way along the seam.

 

Patent

Work from up to down from the lower edge with blue yarn and crochet hook 3.5. Make the patent around without seams with a relief pattern according to the scheme 3-5. Circle every row with a slip stitch and make 3 chain stitches increase on a new row. At 20 cm height of the relief pattern, finish your work above the patent.

 

Lower Edges of Sleeves

Make the pineapple pattern from the lower edge of the sleeve according to scheme 3-4 (3 pattern repeats) with blue yarn and crochet hook 3.5 for cuffs. Make all rows. Then, make a middle element according to scheme 3-2. Connect it with the lower row in the middle of the sleeve while making the last row, filling the rest of the space with a relief pattern according to scheme 3-5. Make the second sleeve in the same way.

 

Assembly

Make 3 rows of relief pattern according to the scheme 3-5 with blue yarn along the neck-hole and make 1 row of single crochets with black yarn.
