Crochet Instructions for a Stylish Bra and Skirt Ensemble

You’ll Need:

12 skeins of blue (96% cotton, 4% polyamide; 106m/50g);

Crochet hook 5 or 5.5.

Used Patterns

Pattern A

Work according to scheme A (the quantity of sts is multiple of 3 + 2). Make 1^st-3^rd rows once, then repeat 2^nd-3^rd rows. Repeat the pattern between arrows.

Pattern B

Work according to scheme B (the quantity of sts is multiple of 9).

Stitches Control:

• Pattern A: 16 sts x 7 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
• 1 pattern repeat B = 9 cm (wide) x 6 rows = 10 cm.

Instructions

Back of Bra

Make 71 chain sts and work with pattern A. In 19 cm, leave 6 sts open from both sides for arm-holes. Then, decrease 1 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides. When the length of the detail is 35 cm, leave the central 17 pattern repeats open for neck-hole = 23 cm and finish both sides separately. In 37 cm from the set-up row, back is finished.

Front of Bra

Make in the same way as back, but with a deeper neck-hole. For this, at 29 cm height, leave the central 7 pattern repeats open and finish both sides separately. In 8 cm from the beginning of the neck-hole, front is finished.

Back of Skirt

Make 72 single crochets along the lower edge of back = 1^st row, stated on the scheme B. Continue work according to scheme B. Starting from the 8^th row, increase sts from both sides in every row until there is 1 pattern repeat increased from each side. When the length of the detail is about 63 cm, finish your work.

Front of Skirt

Make in the same way as back of the skirt.

Assembly

Make shoulder and side seams. Fasten neck-hole and arm-holes with 1 row of single crochets.
