​Summer Blouse with Lace Elements

You’ll need:

250g of violet 100% mercerized cotton yarn (475m/50g);

250g of the same yarn, but in green color;

Crochet hook 0,95.

Size: M.

Used Patterns

Arch of 5 chain sts: make 5 chain sts and join them to single crochets in every 3^rd crochet of the previous row.

Picot: make 5 chain sts, twist crochet hook and chain totally 16 times. Work on all sts with single crochets, then insert crochet hook behind chain, draw st and work with single crochets.

Stitches control: main pattern: 5 pattern repeats x 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Square motif: 14 x 14 cm.

Instructions

Make square motif due to the scheme 1 with violet yarn. Fasten with “shrimp stitch” along edge, don’t cut the yarn, make 9 rows of single crochets through front loop with green yarn and make picots in the corners. For fringe, make 3 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase with green yarn and work with straight and reversed rows of double crochets. Insert fringe through the 9^th row, fasten beginning and end. Make 3 circle motifs with green yarn, join them to the square motif in the last row. Fasten the edge of petals on 2 upper motifs with single crochets and violet yarn. Make fringe due to the scheme 4a with green yarn, connect in the proves of work with motifs (see the scheme of motifs connection). Make decoration due to the scheme 4b in the center of fringe with violet yarn. Fasten fringe due to the scheme 4c from outer side. Make 2 square motifs due to the scheme 2, connect them with fringe, while making the last row. For main cloth, make 328 chain sts with violet yarn and work with the main pattern in circle rows. After crocheting to the lace element, sew it to the main cloth and continue work with straight and reversed rows.

In 42 cm from the beginning, divide your work in half (back and front) for arm-holes and crochet both sides separately. In 18 cm from division of work, make shoulder seams, while making the last row.

Assembly

Fasten the edges of top and arm-holes with 2 rows of single crochets and 1 row of “shrimp stitch”. Fill the upper part of lace element to the round neck-hole with arches of 5 chain sts with violet yarn.
