INSTRUCTIONS

Rnd 1: With A ch 4, join with sl st to form a ring – or make a magic ring, BegV-st in ring, ch 1, (V-st in ring, ch 1) 3 times, join with sl st to 3rdch of beg ch-4. (4 V-st, 4 ch-1)
Rnd 2: Sl st into next ch-1 sp, (BegV-st, ch 1, V-st) in same sp, ch 1, sk next ch-1 sp, [(V-st, ch 1, V-st) in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, sk next ch-1 sp] around, join with sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch-4. (8 V-st, 4 ch-1))

Rnd 3: Sl st into next (ch-1 sp, dc, ch-1 sp), ch 3 (count as dc), 5 dc in same sp, [ch 1, sk next ch-1 sp, V-st in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, sk next ch-1 sp, 6 dc in next ch-1 sp] around omitting last 6 dc, join with sl st to top of beg ch-3. Finish off. (24 dc, 4 V-st, 8 ch-1)

Rnd 4: Join B with sl st to ch-1 sp of any V-st, [sk next ch-1 sp, (2 tr in next dc) 6 times, sk next ch-1 sp, sl st in next ch-1 sp] around placing last sl st in same place as beg sl st. Finish off. (48 tr, 4 sl st)

Rnd 5: Join C with sl st to ch-1 sp of any V-st on Rnd 3 – working over Rnd 4 sl st, [sc in next 2 tr, 2 sc in next 8 tr, sc in next 2 tr, sl st into ch-1 sp of next Rnd 3 V-st – working over Rnd 4 sl st] around placing last sl st in same place as beg sl st. Finish off, weave in ends. (80 sc, 4 sl st)
