Instructions
Round 1
RND 1: With CA, Ch16. Sc in 2nd ch from hook.
Sc in each remaining ch. (15sc)
Round 2
RND 2: Ch1, turn. Sc in BL of first st.
(Sc in FL of next st. Sc in BL of next st) across
Round 3
RND 3: Change to CB. Ch1, turn. Sc in BL of first st.

Round 4
RND 4: Rep R2.
Round 5
RND 5: Change to CA and Rep R3.
Round 6
RND 6: Rep R2.
Round 7
RND 7: Change to CB and Rep R3.
Round 8
RND 8: Rep R2.
Rep rounds 5-8 twice more.
Edging
Changing to CA, ch1, sc in the 1st st. Alternate 1sc in CB, 1sc in CA all the way around the coaster. You should have 2sc in the row end of each stripe along the sides and 2sc in each corner (1 of each color). After the last sc, fasten off and pull the yarn tail through the 1st sc made to join.
