You’ll Need

200 (200; 250; 300; 350)g of Surprise yarn (53% wool, 47% acryl; 80m/50g) of sectional coloring in violet-black shades (#9855);

Knitting needles 6 and 6.5.

Size

2 (4; 6; 8; 10) years.

Stitches Control

13 sts x 16 rows = 10 x 10 cm with knitting needles 6.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 40 (44; 48; 52; 56) sts with knitting needles 6 and work with stockinette stitch.

At 15 (18; 21; 24; 27) cm height, bind off 2 sts in the beginning of every row from both sides for raglan, then, bind off 12 (13; 14; 15; 16) x 1 st after 2 selvage sts in every RS row. At 30 (34; 38; 42; 46) cm height, bind off the rest 12 (14; 16; 18; 20) of the neck-hole.

Front

Make in the same way as the back, but with a deeper neck-hole. At 26 (30; 34; 38; 42) cm height, bind off the central 6 (8; 10; 12; 14) sts and knit both sides separately, binding off 3 x 1 st in every 2nd row from the neck-hole side.

Sleeves

Cast on 24 (26; 28; 28; 30) sts with knitting needles 6 and work with stockinette stitch. Increase 4 x 1 st in every 6th row (4 x 1 st in every 6th and 8th rows by turn; 5 x 1 st in every 6th and 8th rows by turn; 6 x 1 st in every 6th row; 6 x 1 st in every 6th and 8th rows by turn) = 32 (34; 38; 40; 42) sts. At 21 (24; 27; 30; 33) cm height, bind off 2 sts in the beginning of every row from both sides, then, 12 (13; 14; 15; 16) x 1 st in every RS row after 2 selvage sts. At 36 (40; 44; 48; 52) cm height, bind off the rest 4 (4; 6; 6; 6) sts.

Assembly

Make 3 out of 4 raglan lines. For the collar, lift 40 (44; 52; 56; 58) sts with knitting needles 6 and work with stockinette stitch. At 8 (8; 9; 9; 9) cm height, bind off the sts loosely. Complete the collar, raglan, side, and sleeve seams.
