You’ll Need:

160g of 100% cotton yarn (105m/115g) in pink mélange color;

225g of the same yarn, but in blue color;

140g of the same yarn, but in white color;

Crochet hook size 5.

Stitches Control:

10.5 stitches x 10.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Main Part

Make 80 chain stitches using white yarn.

Work with the main pattern following the provided scheme, making 26 pattern repeats plus 2 additional stitches for symmetry. Alternate the colored stripes throughout the entire work. After crocheting 70 rows (60 cm), finish your work.

Upper Part of the Bag

Attach blue yarn to the side. Make 7 rows using single crochets. Simultaneously, make decreases along the first row, following the directions of the scheme. Finish your work.

Create the upper part using the same description for the second side of the bag.

Sides

Attach the blue yarn to the first stitch of the fourth row of the bag's upper part, make 54 chain stitches, and slip stitch into the last stitch of the fourth row.

Cut the yarn.

Make the second side in the same way, but do not cut the yarn.

Fasten your bag with 8 rows of single crochets in every stitch and every crochet. Finish your work.
