Stitch Control
14 sts of pattern A 1 = 10 cm.
Garter st (straight and reverse rows)
All rows - knit sts. 2 rows = 1 rib.
Knit the pattern due to the schemes A1 and A2.
Instructions
Cast on 132-136-140-148-152-160 sts with Alpaca Boucle. Knit the pattern according to diagram A1, knit selvage sts with knit sts (garter st), until about 60-61-62-62-63-64 cm - stop after the row with the front side. Change to Alpaca Boucle thread. In the next row (back side) bind off first 66-68-70-74-76-80 sts (= left front), knit with knit sts until the end of the row. Place marker and knit according to diagram A2, knit selvage sts with garter st.
When A2 is completed vertically, the length of the cut will be about 10-10-10-12-12-12 cm (about 70-71-72-74-75-76 cm from the beginning). Knit the first row of the front side with knit sts with the Alpaca Boucle thread and cast on 66-68-70-74-76-80 sts at the end of the row (= right front) = 132-136-140-148-152-160 sts. Continue knitting according to A1 scheme, but from the reverse side A1 for the symmetry. When the length of the work reaches approximately 130-132-134-136-138-140 cm and there is an equal number of stripes from both sides, bind off all the sts with Alpaca Boucle thread, all the sts knit from the reverse side.
Edging
Knit all the edging around with Alpaca Boucle thread in the following manner: start with the middle of the back and knit 1 sc in the first stitch, *2 cs (chain sts), slip about 1 cm, 1 sc in the next st*, repeat from * to * and finish with 2 cs and 1 connecting st in the first sc.
