Black Yarn & 4mm (6) hook.
Ch 6.
Round 1) 1 sc in 2nd ch from hk, 3 sc, 1 sc inc (carry on down the otherside), 4 sc, (carry on around moving the stitch marker to each new round).
Round 2 – 6) 10 sc.
Round 7) 10 sc, 1 ss.
Round 8) stuff the charm & ss through both sides to join them together.
Use the end of the yarn to create a loop in the middle of the charm.
Wings (x2)
Black Yarn & 3mm or 2.75mm (C) Hook.
Ch 6.
Row 1) 1 sc in 2nd ch from hk, 1 sc, 2 dc, 1 ss, turn.
Row 2) 1 ss, 1 sc, 2 dc, 1 ss, finish (leave enough yarn to attach to charm).
Stomach
White Yarn & 3mm or 2.75mm (C) Hook.
Ch 4.
Round 1) 1 sc in 2nd ch from hk, 1 sc, 3 sc in end ch (carry on down the otherside), 1 sc, 1 sc inc (carry on using stitch marker to mark the start of the round).
Round 2) 8 sc around, ss, finish (leave enough yarn to attach to charm).
Attach to the charm.
Eyes (x2)
White Yarn & 3mm or 2.75mm (C) Hook.
Ch 2.
Round 1) 6 hdc in 2nd ch from hk, 2 ss (leave enough yarn to attach to charm).
Pupils (x2)
Black yarn & yarn needle.
Use a small amount of black yarn to make a small pupil in the centre of the eye.
Attach the eyes to the charm.
Beak

Round 1) 1 sc in 2nd ch from hk, 3 sc in next stitch, (carry on down the other side), 3 sc, 2 ss, finish (leave enough yarn to attach to the charm).
Beak (For Penguin Charm 2)
Orange Yarn & 3mm (11) hook.

Row 1) 1 ss into the 2nd ch from hk, 1 ss, finish (leave enough yarn to attach the beak to the charm).
Wing (x2)
Black Yarn & 3mm (11) hook.
Ch 6.
Row 1) 1 sc in 2nd ch from hk, 1 sc, 3 dc, 1 ss, turn.
Row 2) 1 ss, 1 sc, 2 dc, 1 ss, finish (leave enough yarn to attach the wing to the charm).
Eye (x2)
White Yarn & 3mm (11) hook.
Ch 2.
Round 1) 6 sc in 2nd ch from hk, ss to join (leave enough yarn to attach to the charm).
Pupil (x2)
Black Yarn & 3mm hook.
Ch 2.
Round 1) 6 ss in 2nd ch from hk, ss to join (leave enough yarn to attach to eye).
Attach parts to the front of the charm before sewing the body together:
- Attach the eyes.
- Attach the stomach.
- Attach the pupils.
- Attach the beak.
Attach the 2 parts of the body (charm) together but leave the top open so that you can stuff the charm.
Once stuffed, finish closing off the charm.
But with the last of the yarn, create a loop in the middle of the charm. You can at this point attach a phone charm loop if you want to.
Attach wings and your charm is now finished.
