Pattern Instructions
Round 1
With C1, ch5, join in a circle, ch3, 11 dc in the circle. Join to the ch3 with a slst, ch3 (12 dc)
Round 2
Dc in the same st as the ch3, 2 dc in each dc around. Join to the ch3 with a slst, ch3 (24 dc)
Round 3
1 dc in the next dc, *2 dc in the next dc, 1 dc in the next 2 dc*. Repeat from * to * around. Join to the ch3 with a slst (32 dc)
Round 4
Chgto C2, slst, Ch3 between the next 2 dc, 2dc, ch2, 3 dc in the same sp as the ch3, Ch2, sk 4 dc, 3 dc in the between the next 2 dc, *Ch2, sk 4 dc, 3 dc, ch2, 3 dc between the next 2 dc.* Repeat from * to * 2 more times. Join to the ch3 with a slst, slst in the next 2 dc, slst in the next ch2 sp, ch3 (4 corners, ch2, 3dc, ch2)
Round 5
2 dc, ch2, 3 dc in the ch2 sp, ch1, 2Tr around the ch2 and in the sp between the 2nd and 3rd dc of the previous row. Ch1, sc in the 2nd dc, ch1, 2Tr around the ch2 and in the sp between the 2nd and 3rd dc of the previous row. Ch1.
- *3dc, ch2, 3dc in the next ch2 sp, ch1, 2Tr around the ch2 and in the sp between the 2nd and 3rd dc of the previous row, Ch1, sc in the 2nd dc, ch1, 2Tr around the ch2 and in the sp between the 2nd and 3rd dc of the previous row, Ch1.*

Round 6
*2sc, ch1, 2sc in the ch1 sp, 1 sc in each st and ch1 sp across.* Repeat from * to * 3 more times. Join to the sc with a slst, tie off and weave in your ends.
Remember, you do not have to block your squares. I choose to so they are crisp squares in order to put them together more easily.
