You'll Need
Size: S
Patterns Used
2 x 2 rib, stockinette stitch, lace work according to the scheme.
Front
Cast on 112 stitches for the first row and knit 6 cm of rib. Transition to the stockinette stitch pattern, adding 1 stitch every 3 stitches in the first row. Consequently, you should have 150 stitches. Knit 15 cm after the rib, then start forming side chamfers. Add 1 stitch from each side. Make these increases three times every 6 rows, 4 times every 4 rows, and 4 in a single row.
Continue to knit the front to a length of 27 cm from the rib, then cast on 70 stitches for the sleeves from both sides of the front, giving you a total of 304 stitches. Next, knit 13 cm of stockinette stitch. Proceed with the lace ornament following the scheme, with a height of lace ornament at 7 cm. Finally, knit a right side row with purls and bind off all the stitches of the last row.
Back
Cast on 112 stitches and create a rib that's 6 cm long. After that, shift to stockinette stitch. At a height of 2 cm from the rib, divide your work into two halves and form each part separately. Make chamfers inside the work, decreasing 1 stitch from the outer side every third row. In the process, add stitches for the side chamfer in the same way as used for the front.
Knit the back to a height of 27 cm from the rib, then cast on 70 stitches for the sleeves and knit 13 cm straight. Leave the obtained piece and create the second part of the back using the same method as the first. At this stage, cast on 57 stitches between the sides and knit 7 cm with a lace ornament. Follow this with one row of purls before binding off the stitches of the last row.
For adding the back, form a lace inset to the edge. To do this, cast on 288 + 1 + 2 selvedge stitches. Mark the central stitch with a contrasting thread and knit the lace ornament, decreasing 1 stitch from both sides of the center. After completing the lace part, execute one row of purls to finish the row.
Assembly
Sew the lace edge along the inner edges of the back. Assemble your work at the shoulders, and then sew along the sleeve and side seams.
