Complete Guide to Knitting a Cozy Wool-Acryl Sweater



You’ll Need:
500g of yarn (70% acryl, 30% wool);
Knitting needles size 4.

S.Stitches Control:
13 sts x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm.Used Patterns:
- 2 x 2 rib;
- Stockinette stitch: knit sts on RS rows, purl on WS rows;
- Relief cable: work according to scheme A;
- Chamfer of ribs: work according to scheme B.
Instructions:
Back:
Cast on 69 sts and work with pattern A. Make 6 cm with stockinette stitch in the middle. Continue making side motifs to 33 cm, then make 10 cm with stockinette stitch. Decrease 1 st in every row for 14 cm to create the raglan. At 56 cm height, bind off all the sts.
Front:
Make in the same way as the back, except for the middle of the detail. Incorporate the relief cable (see scheme A). Then, follow the same instructions as for the back.
Sleeves:
Cast on 34 sts and work according to scheme B. Increase 8 sts from each side for 45 cm. Then, start making decreases for the raglan for 14 cm in the same way as for the back. Finally, bind off all the sts.
Assembly:
Make side seams, connect the sleeves, and sew them up. Create a rib along the lower edge of the sleeves, lift 185 sts of the neck-hole with knitting needles, and make a collar 22 cm wide.
Fold the collar to the right side.
