What Do You Need?
- Yarn leftovers (I had a bit of DROPS PARIS blue, yellow, grey and beige)
- Crochet hook that fits your yarn (in my project it’s 4.5 mm)
- Black safety eyes 12 mm
- Polyester fiberfill

- ch – chain
- sc – single crochet
- dc – double crochet
- inc – increase (two sc in one stitch)
- dec – decrease (one sc in two stitches)
Body Instructions
BODY:
- 6 sc in magic ring (6)
- (inc) repeat 6 times (12)
- (1 sc, inc) repeat 6 times (18)
- (2 sc, inc) repeat 6 times (24)
- 24 sc – 5 rounds
- (3 sc, inc) repeat 6 times (30)
- 26 sc, inc, 1 sc, inc, 1 sc (32), insert safety eyes between 7 and 8 round
- (3 sc, dec) repeat 5 times, (1 sc, inc) repeat 3 times, 1 sc (30)
- 23 sc, inc, 2 sc, inc, 3 sc (32)
- (2 sc, dec) repeat 5 times, 12 sc (27)
- (1 sc, dec) repeat 5 times, 6 sc (16), stuff, fold and sew in the bottom
Nose Instructions
NOSE:
- 4 sc in magic ring (4)
- 1 sc, inc, 1 sc, inc (6)
- 6 sc, leave a tail for sewing
Wings Instructions
WINGS:
Don’t crochet around! After every round, reverse your work and make 1 chain (count it as first sc of next round).
- 4 sc with magic ring (4), don’t make a circle, reverse!

- (1 sc, inc) repeat 4 times (12), leave a tail for sewing
Legs Instructions
LEGS:
Legs are just double crochets with a chain between them. Stick your hook in a part of the body where the bird needs to have legs.
- 1 dc, 1 ch, 1 dc, 1 ch, 1 dc, bind and hide threads.
Now you can sew the nose and wings, and your bird is done!
