  • tr - triple crochet
  • sl st - slip stitch
  • picot - ch 3, sl st in first ch
  • st - stitch
  • sp - space (in 4th round all stitches are worked in between stitches of previous round)
  • bl - back loop
  • bp dc - back post double crochet

Flower Instructions

Round 1, Col A: Magic ring. Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in magic ring, ch. *dc 2, ch* repeat from * to * 3 more times. Sl st in top of first dc. Fasten off.
(5 ch, 10 dc)

Round 2, Col B:
Make standing dc in one of ch sp. 3dc in same ch sp. *Bp dc in next 2 sts. Dc 4 in ch sp.* Repeat from * to * 3 more times. Bp dc in next 2 sts. Sl st in first dc of this round. Fasten off.
(20 dc, 10 bp dc)

Round 3, Col C:
Make standing dc in between any bp dc's of previous round. Dc 2 in same sp.
*Bp dc in first of 4dc's of previous round. Dc in the root of bpdc you just made. Bp dc in next 2 sts. Bp dc in last of 4dc's of previous round. Dc in the root of bp dc you just made. Dc 3 in between bp dc's of previous round.* Repeat from * to * 3 more times. Bp dc in first of 4dc's of previous round. Dc in the root of bpdc you just made. Bp dc in next 2 sts. Bp dc in last of 4dc's of previous round. Dc in the root of bp dc you just made. Sl st in first dc of this round. Fasten off.
(25 dc, 20 bp dc)

Round 4, Col D:
(In this round, all stitches are worked in between stitches of previous round! I will call them spaces - sp)
*Make standing sc in between dc's of previous round (right where dc's turn to bpdc's). Hdc, dc in next sp. Htr in next sp. Tr 2 in next sp, picot, hdc in middle of last tr, tr in same sp. Htr in next sp. Dc, hdc in next sp. Sc in next sp. Skip 2 spaces.* Repeat from * to * 4 more times. Sl st in first sc made. Fasten off.
