How to Crochet an Adorable Whale

- 1 skein gray worsted weight yarn
- Small amount of white worsted weight yarn

Special Stitches

Creating the Back Fluke
Back Fluke (use gray worsted weight yarn): With the back side of the front fluke facing you, join yarn in the furthest right unworked st.

Row 2: 1 sc in each of the next 7 sts, ch 2, turn.
Row 3: 3 tr in the next st, 1 dc in the next st, 1 hdc in the next st, 1 sc in the next st, 1 hdc in the next, 1 dc in the next st, 3 tr in the next st, ch 2, turn.
Row 4: 3 tr in the first st, 1 tr in the next st, 1 dc in the next st, 1 hdc in the next st, 1 sc in the next st, 1 sl st in the next st, 1 sc in the next st, 1 hdc in the next st, 1 dc in the next st, 1 tr in the next st, 3 tr in the last st, ch 2, turn.

With front fluke facing you, join gray worsted weight yarn to the far right side through both flukes.
