  • Round 7: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of the next 5 sts, repeat from * around - 42 st
  • Round 8: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of the next 6 sts, repeat from * around - 48 st
  • Round 9: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of the next 7 sts, repeat from * around - 54 st
  • Round 10: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of the next 8 sts, repeat from * around - 60 st
  • Round 11: sc around, blo only - 60 st
  • Rounds 12-15: sc around - 60 st
  • Round 16: *sc2tog, sc in each of the next 8 sts, repeat from * around - 54 st
  • Round 17: sc around - 54 st
  • Round 18: *sc2tog, sc in each of the next 7 sts, repeat from * around - 48 st
  • Round 19: *sc2tog, sc in each of the next 6 sts, repeat from * around - 42 st
  • Round 20: sc around - 42 st
  • Round 21: *sc2tog, sc in each of the next 5 sts, repeat from * around - 36 st
  • Round 22: *sc2tog, sc in each of the next 4 sts, repeat from * around - 30 st
  • Set eyes between rows 15 and 16
  • Stuff lightly
  • Round 23: *sc2tog, sc in each of the next 3 sts, repeat from * around - 24 st
  • Round 24: *sc2tog, sc in each of the next 2 sts, repeat from * around - 18 st
  • Finish stuffing (firmly)
  • Round 25: *sc2tog, sc in each of the next 1 st, repeat from * around - 12 st
  • Round 26: *sc2tog around - 6 st
  • Finish off and weave in ends

Bell Margin

Join yarn at the blo row, work 2 dc in each blo stitch. Slip stitch to join, weave in ends.

Tentacles and Oral Arms

  • Chain 2
  • Round 1: Work 6 sc in the first chain
  • Round 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 st
  • Round 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, repeat from * around - 18 st
  • Round 4: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of the next 2 sts, repeat from * around - 24 st
  • Base complete, do not break yarn, start working next half:
  • *Ch 30, sk 2 ch, 3 dc in each chain
  • sk 1 st (on the base) sc 1, chain 70, sk 1 (on base) sc
  • sk 1, sc, ch 22, sk 1 ch, 3 sc in each chain
  • sk 1 st (on the base) sc 1, chain 70, sk 1 (on base) sc
  • Repeat this section so you have 4 tentacles (70 chains) and 2 each of the oral arms spirals

Finish off, leaving a long strand for sewing. Sew to the bottom of the jellyfish.
