Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 6 + 3 + 1 chain st increase. Work according to the scheme. Start every row with 1 or 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1^st single or double crochet and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat.

Pattern for sleeves: make in the same way as the main pattern, but repeat 1^st-10^th rows once, then, repeat 3^rd-10^th rows.

Main pattern: 16 sts x 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Pattern for sleeves: 17 sts x 11 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Make 75 (81) 87 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work with the main pattern = 12 (13) 14 pattern repeats + 2 initial and 1 final sts. In 53.5 cm = 48 rows (55.5 cm = 50 rows) 58 cm = 52 rows from the set-up row, leave the central 4 pattern repeats (3 + ½ pattern repeat from both sides) 4 pattern repeats and decrease 1 st for symmetry every time and finish both sides separately. In 55.5 cm = 50 rows (58 cm = 52 rows) 60 cm = 54 rows from the set-up row, finish your work on the rst 26 (29) 32 sts of the shoulder from each side.

Front

Make in the same way as for back, but with a deeper neck-hole. For this, in 46.5 cm = 42 rows (49 cm = 44 rows) 51 cm = 46 rows from the set-up row, leave the central 2 pattern repeats (1 + ½ pattern repeat from both sides) 2 pattern repeats and decrease 1 st for symmetry every time, leave 2 x ½ pattern repeat in every 2^nd row from inwards for smooth rounding.

Sleeves

Make 41 (47) 53 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work with the pattern for sleeves, make 1 single crochet or 1 double crochet in the beginning and end of every row = 6 (7) 8 pattern repeats + 3 initial and 2 final sts. In 23.5 cm = 26 rows (20 cm = 22 rows) 16.5 cm = 18 rows from the set-up row, increase 10 (12) 14 sts during the next 28 (32) 36 rows for sleeve chamfers, make increases only on the 5^th, 6^th, 9^th, or 10^th rows of the pattern and make single crochets or double crochets according to the pattern = 61 (71) 81 sts. Finish your work in 49 cm = 54 rows from the set-up row.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Cast on 108 sts along the neck-hole with circular knitting needles, make 22 cm of rib for collar and bind off the sts according to the pattern. Sew up the sleeves. Fasten the lower edge and sleeve edges with 1 circle row of single crochets and “shrimp stitch.”
