Crochet hook 5.5.
Size:
S (M) L.
Used Patterns
Main Pattern
The quantity of stitches is multiple of 2 + 1 chain stitch increase. Work according to scheme 1. Start every row with 1 or 3 chain stitches increase instead of the 1st single or double crochet, followed by stitches before the pattern repeat, pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after the pattern repeat. Make 1st-4th rows once, then repeat 3rd-4th rows.
Lace Pattern
The quantity of stitches is multiple of 8 + 1 + 1 chain stitch increase. Make in the same way as the main pattern, but according to scheme 2. Repeat 1st-5th rows.
Square (Make 2)
Make 5 chain stitches and circle them in the ring with 1 slip stitch. Work with circle rows according to scheme 3. Start every circle row with the stated chain stitches increase instead of the 1st stitch and make 1st-6th circle rows once.
Stitches Control:
14.5 stitches x 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Lace pattern: 16.5 stitches x 5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Square: 11 x 11 cm.
Instructions
Back
Make 68 (74) 80 chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase and work with the main pattern. In 38 cm from the set-up row, leave 3 pattern repeats from both sides for armholes. In 55 (57) 59 cm from the set-up row, leave the central 9 (10) 11 pattern repeats for the neck-hole and finish both sides separately in 58 (60) 62 cm from the set-up row.
Left Front
Make 34 (38) 42 chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase and work with the main pattern. In 33 (35) 37 cm from the set-up row, leave 2 stitches from the left side for neck-hole chamfer and 7 (9) 11 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row. At the same time, make the armhole from the right side in the same way as for the back and finish your work.
Right Front
Make in symmetry to the left front.
Sleeves
Make 40 (50) 58 chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase and work with the main pattern. In 13 cm from the set-up row, increase 1 stitch from both sides for sleeve chamfers and 5 (8) 6 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row, including the increased stitches in the pattern. Finish your work in 35 cm from the set-up row.
Assembly
Fasten the lower edges of sleeves with a lace pattern, increasing 1 stitch (decreasing 1 stitch) in the 1st row = 41 (49) 57 single crochets in the 1st row. Make shoulder seams; sew up the sleeves and make all the rest seams. Fasten the edges of the front and neck-hole with 3 rows of single crochets, then fasten all the edges of the front and back with 1 circle row of “shrimp stitch.” Sew squares on the front as pockets.
I love the beige sweater. Do you have a written pattern that I can follow? The schematic is small and hard to follow.
Thank you
Evelyn
Dear Evelyn, I'll try to find this pattern at another source
Thank you so much...
I would also like a written pattern for this lovely beige sweater.
This pattern is half written, but contains detailed schemes
It would be nice if all of these such patterns were put so that it is printable. The way they come up now it's impossible to print the whole patterns. If these patterns are free, then it shouldn't be hard to print them out the way it is posted now, but it's not possible to print them out and get the whole pattern.
You can copy and save the text as .doc file and then print it out
