Knitting Pattern for a Beautiful Grey and Violet Garment


You’ll Need:
200g of grey Chelsey yarn (50% wool, 50% acryl; 100m/50g);
50g of violet yarn (92% acryl, 8% polyester; 400m/100g);
Knitting needles 7 and 3;
3 buttons.

Main Pattern:
Work with grey yarn and knitting needles 7.
1st row: * slip 1 knit st with yarn over, 1 purl*; repeat from * to *;
2nd row: knit, purls with yarn overs – as purls.
1 x 1 rib.
Stitches Control:
13 sts x 13 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions:
Cast on 122 sts with knitting needles 7 and grey yarn and make 12 cm of main pattern. Then, make 4 rows of 1 x 1 rib, and create a button-loop from the right side: bind off 2 sts in the 2nd row, and cast on 2 new sts at this place in the 3rd row.
Next, make 12 cm of the main pattern, followed by 4 rows of 1 x 1 rib in the following way:
- 1st row: knit straight;
- 2nd row: 28 sts of front due to the pattern, bind off 15 sts for arm-hole, 34 sts of back, bind off 15 sts for arm-hole, 28 sts of front;
- 3rd row: 28 sts due to the pattern, cast on 15 sts, 34 sts due to the pattern, cast on 15 sts, 28 sts due to the pattern;
- 4th row: due to the pattern.
Make a button-hole from the right side. Continue with 12 cm of the main pattern, followed by 4 rows of 1 x 1 rib, creating another button-hole, then 10 cm of the main pattern and 2 rows of 1 x 1 rib. Finally, bind off the sts.
Assembly:
Sew the buttons.
