The finished applique measures approximately 2.9″ (7.4 cm) by 2.6″ (6.7 cm).

Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.
Arrow Applique Instructions
With white, ch 19.
Row 1: Sl st across starting from the second ch from hook. (18 sts)
Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.
Heart Point
With red, make a MC.
Round 1: Ch 1, hdc 2, sc 2, hdc 1, sc 2, hdc 2, ch 1, sl st in MC. (9 sts, 2 chs)
Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.
Fletching
(Make two)
With light blue, ch 10.
Row 1: Sl st across starting from the second ch from hook. (9 sts)
Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.
Assembly Instructions
Start by sewing the fletchings (photo 1). Then, sew the arrow with one of the ends over the fletchings, and attach the heart point over the other end of the arrow (photo 2).
Sew the arch applique over the arrow, and with a length of yellow, embroider the string.
Weave in all your ends.
