Instructions:
Start with the Magic Ring (MR):
Create a Magic Ring and leave a long tail for sewing later.
Row 1:
Yarn over 5 times.
Pull through all the loops on the hook and chain 1 to complete the cluster stitch.
Repeat this 4 more times to have a total of 5 cluster stitches in the Magic Ring.
Do not pull the Magic Ring too tight yet.
Finish Row 1:
Chain 1 after the last cluster stitch.
Cut the yarn, ensuring you leave enough length for sewing later.
Change Colour for Row 2:
Insert your hook between any two cluster stitches from Row 1.
Attach your second color yarn (green, brown, yellow, or whatever color you prefer).
Chain 1 to secure the new yarn.
Row 2:
Yarn over 5 times.
Pull through all the loops and chain 1 to complete the cluster stitch.
Repeat this 3 more times to have a total of 4 cluster stitches in Row 2.
Finish Row 2:
After the last cluster, chain 1 and turn.
Cut the yarn, leaving enough length for sewing.
Row 3:
Attach your yarn again in the next position.
Make 3 cluster stitches with the same method (yarn over 5 times, pull through all loops, chain 1).
Chain 1, cut yarn, leaving a length for sewing afterward.
Row 4:
Attach your yarn again and make 2 cluster stitches.
Finish with chain 1, cut yarn, leaving a length for sewing.
Row 5:
Attach your yarn and make 1 cluster stitch.
Finish with chain 1, cut the yarn, and ensure you have enough for sewing.
Tighten Magic Ring:
Fully tighten the Magic Ring carefully.
Create the Chain Strap:
Chain 6 from where you left off.
Cut the yarn, leaving enough length to weave in later.
Use a tapestry needle to neatly weave in all your loose ends.
Additional Notes:
If desired, you can extend the strap length by chaining more than 6.
