Instructions

Start with the collar: cast on 48 sts with short circle needles and work with the rib pattern. Start circle rows with the right shoulder. At 24 cm height of the collar, knit in the following way: * 1 knit st, place marker (= right shoulder), 1 cross knit st, 6 knit sts, 1 cross knit st, 10 sts of cable, 1 cross knit st, 6 knit sts, 1 cross knit st, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to *, place marker on the 1st st (= left shoulder). These 2 sts will be made as stockinette stitch. Make the increased sts with stockinette stitch. For widening, repeat the increases from both sides of front and back cables 10 x in every 4th circle row = 4 increases in every circle row.

At the same time, repeat the increases from both sides of marked sts of shoulder 4 x in every 2nd circle row and 2 x in every 4th circle row = 4 increases in every circle row = 120 sts. In 50 cm from the collar, bind off all the sts due to the ornament. Join the tassels along the lower edge in every 3rd st. Make tassel with a thread of 3 strings of yarn 17 cm long.
