Complete Knitting Instructions for Wool and Cotton Jumper Patterns




You’ll Need:
450; 450; 500; 550; 600; 700g of yarn (50% wool, 50% cotton; 110m/50g);
Double pointed knitting needles 3.5 and 4;
Circle knitting needles 4 (60 and 80 cm long);
Markers.
Size:
S; M; L; XL; XXL; XXXL.Used Patterns:

- 2 x 2 rib;

Stitch Control:

Side Decreases:
Don’t finish 3 sts before the side marker, knit2tog, 1 knit st, marker, 1 knit st, slip 1 st, 1 knit st, throw the slipped st on the knit st;Increases on Sleeves:
Make in the lower part of sleeve, don’t finish 1 st to marker. Make 1 yarn over, 1 knit st, marker, 1 knit st, 1 yarn over. Make yarn overs in the next row as cross knit st;Raglan:
Decrease 2 sts on every raglan line. Don’t finish 3 sts to marker, knit2tog, 1 knit st, marker, 1 knit st, slip 1 st as knit st, 1 knit st, throw the slipped st on the knit st.
Instructions:
Main Part:
Cast on 212; 228; 248; 268; 292; 316 sts with knitting needles 4 and make 2 rows of garter stitch. Then, divide the sts in the following way: 17; 21; 20; 25; 25; 31 knit sts, 3 purls, * pattern A.1 (= 18; 18; 22; 22; 26; 26 sts), 6 purls*; repeat from * to * once, then, pattern repeat A.1, 3 purls, 34; 42; 40; 50; 50; 62 knit sts, 3 purls, * pattern A.1, 6 purls*; repeat from * to * once, pattern A.1, 3 purls, 17; 21; 20; 25; 25; 31 knit sts.
Place one marker at the beginning of the row and one more marker in 106; 114; 124; 134; 146; 158 sts. These are the side lines.
Knit the jumper according to this scheme for 8cm, decrease 1 st from both sides of the marker, which totals minus 4 sts in a row. Repeat the decreases every 4.5 cm x 7 times for all sizes. You should end up with 184; 200; 220; 240; 264; 288 sts.
In 39 cm (for all sizes), bind off 8; 8; 10; 10; 12; 14 sts from both sides: 4; 4; 5; 5; 6; 7 sts from each side of the marker. There will be 84; 92; 100; 110; 120; 130 sts for front and back (each). Leave this detail.
Sleeves:
Cast on 48; 52; 56; 56; 60; 64 sts with knitting needles 3.5 and make 1 row of knit sts. Then, turn to 2 x 2 rib. After making 6 cm, switch to knitting needles 4 and knit 1 row with knit sts. Decrease 4; 6; 8; 6; 8; 10 sts in this row. There will be 44; 46; 48; 50; 52; 54 sts remaining. Place a marker at the beginning of the row to mark the center of the lower part of the sleeve.
Continue with stockinette stitch. At total height of the sleeve, which is 10; 7; 7; 10; 7; 7 cm, increase 2 sts after the marker. Repeat the increase in intervals of 3; 2.5; 2; 1.5; 1.5; 1.5 cm x 12; 15; 18; 19; 20; 21 times. You should get 68; 76; 84; 88; 92; 96 sts. In 46; 45; 43; 42; 40; 39 cm, bind off the central 8; 8; 10; 10; 12; 14 sts in the lower part of the sleeve. You should be left with 60; 68; 74; 78; 80; 82 sts. Leave the sleeve and make the second one in the same way.
Yoke:
Transfer the sleeves and the main part of the jumper onto common knitting needles, totaling 288; 320; 348; 376; 400; 424 sts. Divide the details using markers to indicate the 4 raglan lines. Continue working according to the previously described scheme and start decreasing for the raglan.
Make 5; 5; 6; 6; 6; 7 decreases in every 4th row, followed by 14; 16; 18; 21; 23; 24 decreases in every 2nd row. In total, there will be 19; 21; 24; 27; 29; 31 decreases. There are 136; 152; 156; 160; 168; 176 sts left. Make 2 rows of garter stitch. Knit the first 22; 26; 26; 24; 22; 20 sts of the 1st row as knit2tog. Decrease 18; 28; 26; 28; 34; 40 sts in the same row. There will be 96; 98; 104; 108; 112; 116 sts remaining. Bind off the sts.
