​Sunny Crochet Cap

You’ll need:

30g of yellow yarn Magic «Super Exellence» (49% wool, 51% acryl; 228m/100g);

About 5g of the same yarn, but light-yellow color;

Crochet hook 2,5.

Head circumference: 48 cm.

Stitches control: 18 double crochets x 11 rows = 10 x 10 cm with fillet pattern.

Instructions

Make 4 chain sts, slip st.

1^st row: 3 chain sts increase, 11 double crochets in the ring, slip st;

2^nd row: 3 chain sts increase, 17 double crochets in the double crochets of the lower row, slip st.

Make 5 rows of double crochets, making increases of 6 double crochets in every row = 48 sts.

Then, make 10 rows with fillet pattern due to the scheme = 42 sts.

Visor

Make 1 row of single crochets.

Make 5 rows of single crochets on the central 30 sts.

For making visor round, leave unfinished 3 single crochets from both sides in the 6^th row from the visor beginning, then in every row 2 x 3 single crochets = 12 single crochets.

Now, make the second bottom part of your visor, making sts increases in symmetry = 30 sts.

Finish work in the 16^th row.

Assembly

Cut a visor template from thick cardboard, insert it into your work and fasten the edge with 1 row of single crochets. Make flower from light-yellow yarn due to the scheme, sew it t the cap.
