How to Crochet a Beautiful Floral Design Top

You'll Need
5 (7) skeins of yarn (60% cotton, 40% polyacryl; 130m/50g);
Crochet hook 3.5 mm.
Size
S (M).
Main Pattern
The quantity of chain stitches is multiplied by 3 + 2 + 3 chain stitches increase. Crochet according to the scheme. Start with stitches before the pattern repeat, follow the pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after the pattern repeat.
Crochet Flowers
Crochet flowers x 10 (x12): 6 chain stitches, slip stitch. Continue working according to scheme 2, starting each new row with a chain stitch increase instead of the first stitch and finishing with a slip stitch in the last chain stitch increase. Repeat the 1st-3rd rows once. Attach the second motif to the previous motif using a slip stitch, and all the other motifs should be attached in the last row at the places marked with arrows, connecting the first and last motifs to form a circle.
Stitch Control of the Main Pattern
24 stitches x 9.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm, flower measures 8.5 x 8.5 cm.
Instructions
Back
Make 101 (122) chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase, work with the main pattern for 8 (9) cm.
For the upper part, make 101 (122) chain stitches again + 3 chain stitches increase, continue with the main pattern for 16 cm long. Leave 9 stitches for arm-holes on both sides and decrease 3 stitches in every 2nd row = 71 (92) stitches.
After 26 (27) cm from the set-up row, leave 39 (46) central stitches (neck-hole) and finish each part separately.
For rounding, leave 2 x 3 stitches and 1 x 2 stitches from the inner edge of each row. Finish work at 35 (36) cm on the remaining 8 (15) stitches of the shoulder from both sides.
Front
Make the front in the same way as the back, but with a deeper neck-hole: leave the central 27 (34) stitches in 21 (22) cm from the set-up row and decrease 4 x 3 stitches and 1 x 2 stitches in each row.
Assembly
Make seams for the upper and bottom parts. Connect the strip of flowers with the upper and bottom parts using chain stitches. Fasten the edges with 1 circular row of “shells” which consist of: * 1 single crochet, skip 1 stitch of the previous row, 5 double crochets in the next stitch, skip 1 stitch of the previous row *; repeat from * to * until the end of the row.
