How to Crochet Your Own Cotton Yarn Stockings

You’ll Need:
150g of thin 100% cotton yarn in white color;
Crochet hook 3;
Elastic rib.
Instructions
Make 72 chain sts and circle them in a ring. Continue work according to the scheme 1, decreasing chain sts (in the arches of chain sts – up to 5) step by step to the ankle. After making 54 rows following scheme 1, continue work on half of all sts following the same scheme. Make 36 chain sts and create the lower part of the foot on these sts, alternating 1 half double crochet and 1 chain st. Complete 16 rows this way, decreasing 1 st from both sides of the lower part of the foot.
Toe
For the toe, work with circle rows of single crochets, decreasing 4 sts in every row.
Heel
For the heel, make 36 single crochets on one side of the previously left hole. Then, make 24 rows of single crochets, dividing your work into 3 parts of 12 sts each. Create 24 rows of single crochets on the central sts, making the last crochet in every row together with the crochet of the side parts. Sew the obtained hole with a needle.
Insert elastic rib.
If you want to make the second pair of stockings as shown in the photo, repeat these actions following scheme 2.
