Crocheting with Grey and Mélange Yarn

You’ll Need
150g of grey XLarge 8fach yarn;
150g of the same yarn, but in mélange color;
Crochet hook 7.
Note
Work in 3 threads of yarn.
Used Patterns
Half-crochets: work with circle rows, 1 circle row of each color.
Stitch Control
8 sts x 7 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Make 4 chain sts and circle them in the ring with 1 slip stitch and work with circle rows of half crochets; make 11 sts in the 1st circle row.
2nd round: double every stitch = 22 sts;
3rd round: double every 3rd stitch = 29 sts;
4th round: double every 5th stitch = 33 sts (with mélange yarn);
5th round: double 1 stitch = 34 sts (with grey yarn), then make 12 circle rows of half crochets; finish the row with 1 circle row of slip stitches with mélange yarn.
Make a pompom of 10 cm diameter with mélange yarn and sew it to the hat.
