Wavy Pattern

The quantity of stitches is multiple of 16 + 1. Work due to the scheme with stitches before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with stitches after pattern repeat.

Pattern for Placket

Work with half crochets, insert the crochet hook only in the back of the loop. Start every row with 2 chain stitches increase instead of the 1st half crochet and finish with 1 half crochet in the 2nd chain stitch increase of the previous row.

Stitches Control:

wavy pattern: 17 sts x 13 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

pattern for placket: 16.5 sts x 15 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Make 81 (97) 113 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase with coral yarn and work with the main pattern. In 63 cm = 82 rows from the set-up row, leave the central 35 stitches open for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, decrease 3 x 1 stitch in every row from inwards. In 65.5 cm = 85 rows from the set-up row (= after 1 row with coral yarn), finish your work on the rest 20 (28) 36 stitches of shoulder.

Left Front

Make 33 (41) 49 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase with coral yarn and work with the main pattern, starting with stitches before pattern repeat, pattern repeat x once (twice) twice, finish with 9 (1) 9 stitches after pattern repeat. In 57 cm = 74 rows from the set-up row, leave 1 x 12 stitches open from the left side for neck-hole and decrease 1 x 1 stitch in the next 2nd row. Finish your work on the rest 20 (28) 36 stitches of shoulder at the height of the back.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left front.

Sleeves

Make 33 (49) 65 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase with coral yarn and work with the wavy pattern. Increase 2 x 1 stitch from both sides for chamfers, then, bind off 10 x 1 stitch in every 4th row = 57 (73) 89 stitches. In 42.5 cm = 55 rows from the set-up row, finish your work.

Assembly

Fasten the edges of front with 94 single crochets and make 5 cm of pattern for placket. Make shoulder seams. Fasten neck-hole and half of the short sides of front plackets with 117 single crochets with grey yarn, then make 10 cm of pattern for placket on these stitches for the collar. Sew sleeves to the upper 16.5 (21.5) 26 cm of side edges of back and front, with the center of the sleeve at the shoulder seam. Make side and sleeve seams.
