Used Patterns

Scallops with Puff Stitches

The quantity of sts is multiple 8 + 7 + 3 chain sts increase. Work according to scheme 1. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1^st-11^th rows once, then repeat 2^nd-11^th rows.

Stripe with Puff Stitches

The quantity of sts is multiple 8 + 3 + 3 chain sts. Work as for scallops pattern, but follow scheme 2. Make 1^st-4^th rows once, then repeat 3^rd-4^th rows.

Fans Pattern

The quantity of sts is multiple 8 + 1 + 1 chain st increase. Work according to scheme 3. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1^st-5^th rows once, then repeat 2^nd-5^th rows.

Stitches Control

• Patterns with puff stitches: 13.5 sts x 15.5 rows = 10 x 20 cm;
• Fans pattern: 20 sts x 8 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Make 71 (79) chain sts + 3 chain sts increase with Garzato Piu yarn and work with scallops pattern. In 55 (53) cm from the set-up row, skip 6 sts from both sides for arm-holes. Finish your work on the remaining 59 (67) sts in 75 cm from the set-up row; central 11 (17) sts form neck-hole, outer 24 (25) sts form shoulders.

Left Front

Make 52 (55) chain sts + 3 chain sts increase with Garzato Piu yarn and work with scallops pattern. For size S, start with sts from arrow A and finish with sts before arrow B. For neck-hole chamfer, leave 1 st open from the left side in 41 cm from the set-up row and then leave 21 (23) x 1 st open in every row. Make arm-hole from the right side in the same way as for back. Finish your work at the height of back on the remaining 24 (25) sts.

Right Front

Make symmetrically to the left front, but include button-holes. For this, in 44 cm from the set-up row, skip the 4^th and 6^th sts from the right side, making 3 chain sts. Complete these sts according to the pattern in WS row.

Sleeves

Make 43 (51) chain sts + 1 chain st increase with Garzato Piu yarn and work with stripes with puff stitches. For chamfers, increase 6 x 1 st in every 6^th row (4 x 1 st in every 9^th row) following the pattern = 55 (59) sts. In 54 cm from the set-up row, finish your work.

Collar

Make 121 chain sts + 1 chain st increase with Garzato Piu yarn and work with fans pattern. In 11.5 cm = 9 rows from the set-up row, finish your work.

Assembly

Make all the seams and sew up the sleeves. Fasten the edges of the front, sleeves, and back neck-hole with 2 rows of single crochets using Pelo yarn. Sew the collar below single crochets, connecting the center of the collar with the center of the back neck-hole. Finally, sew the big button to the left front and the small button to the WS of the right front.
