Black Crochet Bolero

You’ll need:

450 (550) 600g of black Divino yarn (75% cotton, 25% polyamide; 100m/50g);

Crochet hook 5;

Knitting needles 5;

Scissors;

Stitch markers.


Size: S (M) L/XL.


Used Patterns

Lace pattern: work due to the scheme. Turn rows, as stated. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-5th rows x once, then, repeat 2nd-5th rows.

Arches: 1st rnd: single crochets;

2nd row: 1 chain st increase, 1 single crochet, * 5 double crochets in the 3rd st, 1 single crochet in the next 3rd st*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 slip st in chain st increase.

Garter stitch: knit sts.


Stitches control: lace pattern: 16,5 sts x 6 rows = 10 x 10 cm.


Instructions

Back

Make 63 (73) 83 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with lace pattern. For sleeves, increase 41 (38) 35 cm from both sides on the following 13 cm. In 18 cm from the set-up row, continue crochet straight. In 28 (31) 34 cm from the set-up row, leave the central 18 (20) 22 cm for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. Finish your work in 30 (33) 36 cm from the set-up row.


Right Front

Make 31 (36) 41 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with lace pattern, start with sts from arrow A (B) A. For neck-hole chamfer, decrease 9 (10) 11 cm from the right side on the next 30 (33) 36 cm. At the same time, make increases for sleeves in the same way, as for back from the left side. Finish your work in 30 (33) 36 cm from the set-up row.


Left Front

Make in symmetry to right front.


Assembly

Make shoulder and upper sleeves seams. Fasten the edges of sleeves with 1 row of single crochets. Then, cast on sts along back part of sts and make 5 cm of garter stitch and bind off all sts. Make arches on the bound off edge. Make lower seams of sleeves and side seams. Fasten neck-hole and lower edge with 1 circle row of single crochets. Then, cast on sts on back part of sts, work with garter stitch in circle rows for 3 cm, after that, bind off all sts and fasten with arches.
